McLanes

Thanks for visiting our web site! We hope you find yourselves at home with us in Warsaw, Poland. We are so thankful for our many supporters for allowing us to answer the call of God for the time of harvest in Poland. As fully appointed missionaries with the Assemblies of God, we have lived in Warsaw since April 2002 and in August 2008 we received long-term residency status with the Polish government. We love the people of Poland and pray for an enduring harvest as we serve Him here as partners with the Polish Pentecostal Church (Kościoł Zielonoświątkowy).

Kościoł na Zaciszu

We are currently working closely with a new church plant in Warsaw alongside Pastor Jan Troc. Kościoł na Zaciszu was planted almost one year ago and meets in the new chapel at the Warsaw Theological Seminary. Early in 2009, as we were fasting and praying, God began to speak to our hearts about helping this new church develop its leadership, vision, and ministries. Within a short time, the pastor asked if we would be willing to come alongside them. God opened this new door of opportunity where Richard is working with the pastor to develop vision goals, missions statement for the church, organization and planning of events. Lori is helping develop the worship team and leading worship on Sundays. God has renewed fresh dreams in our minds. It is our goal to develop this new church plant in three years to 200 people.

One of the key goals of this church in Zacisze is to plant other churches. In November 2010, we began meeting with a small home group in the city of Karwacz approximately 100 kilometers north of Warsaw. This area of Poland has no evangelical churches and it is our desire to continue to meet together and eventually establish a church in this area.

Warsaw Seminary

In October, 2010, we celebrated the dedication of the building project at Warsaw Theological Seminary. When the projected was started in 2004, Builder's International was a major contributor to the success of this project. While this project is nearing completion, we are so indebted to Builder's International and the many churches which have sent construction teams to help us. The new building includes a new dormitory for students, kitchen, dining hall, computer lab, library, media center, as well as a new chapel which will seat about 400.
