Our Ministries

Kościoł na Zaciszu

We are currently working closely with a new church plant in Warsaw alongside Pastor Jan Troc. Kościoł na Zaciszu was planted almost one year ago and meets in the chapel at the Warsaw Theological Seminary. Early in 2009, as we were fasting and praying, God began to speak to our hearts about helping this new church develop its leadership, vision, and ministries. Within a short time, the pastor asked if we would be willing to come alongside them. God opened this new door of opportunity where Richard is working with the pastor to develop vision goals, mission statement for the church, organization and planning of events. Lori is helping develop the worship team and leading worship on Sundays.

God has renewed fresh dreams in our minds. It is our goal to develop this new church plant in three years to 200 people. It is our desire then to plant a new church in Warsaw using the leaders that have been developed through training and discipleship at Kosciol na Zaciszu. Each new plant will begin with 50 members from the existing church. As each new church plant develops the goals will continue to be the same. Over the next 15 years, we believe we can plant 30 churches across Warsaw.

We had our first evangelization outreach on June 21, 2009. We invited people from the neighborhood surrounding the church for a family day of fun. We grilled kielbasa, had games, live music, and prizes. About 250 people attended this event. Our second evangelization outreach on October 3, 2009 was in cooperation with Convoy of Hope. We hosted about 200 people.

In 2010, the church hosted two conferences as outreach events. The church hosted a weekend conference in May on "How to Pray for Israel." The second conference held in July ministered to women through workshops and general sessions with Daughter's of Destiny from Connecticut.

Our first baptismal service for this church was held in 2010. Three people were baptized in water and confessed their faith in Jesus Christ. It was a time of rejoicing!

Note: Warsaw currently has over 3 million residents with only 4 Pentecostal churches with a total of 750 members.

Spiritual Warfare Camp

For two years, we have introduced Spiritual Warfare Camp to the youth of Poland. We invited the camp's originator, Pastor Louis Barnett, from Michigan to be the General for our first year. The week- long camp is designed to assimilate the biblical truths of our spiritual warfare. The intensive discipline, physical training, group games, study sessions, and evening meetings are filled with the purpose of becoming a good soldier for Jesus Christ.

We plan to continue this ministry by developing and training leaders. Our ultimate goal is to be able to purchase land to build a camp that can be used year-round.

Currently, we are praying about land that has been offered to us for ministry purposes. This land has the potential to be developed into a camp that could be used for training as well as a new church plant. We are praying for government approval to rezone this land and for the legal wisdom and finances needed to realize this dream.

Convoy of Hope

In October 2009, we hosted Convoy of Hope as an outreach in Warsaw and Zamosc, Poland. In each location the guests were invited to enjoy grilled kielbasa, play games, received free hair cuts, and after receiving the gospel message were given bags of groceries and a Bible. We were able to serve about 1,200 people.
